Does anyone know of a formal petition going 'round to get the handsome cabs off of the streets? Seeing that news footage of that poor horse that had to be put down really pissed me off. Not to mention that there were a few people injured as well. There are way too many cars and drivers that don't give a crap about being careful when sharing the streets with the carriages. I'm surprised these accidents don't happen more often. Anyone?

Wed, January 4, 2006 - 8:37 AMDamn you're a genius! That would have been so great. Bloomberg probably would have called out the National Guard and fenced off everything, funneling all the cyclists into the east river or something. And then locking up their bikes.
Sadly, they had to put that horse down. Waaa.
